Norman stops Microsoft Internet Explorer exploit

Norman has now released signature files that will stop malware using the latest vulnerability in Microsoft's Internet Explorer browser. All Norman customers that download the latest updates will be safe.
This is a serious vulnerability that could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code on the users's system.
- We have released signature files that detect and stop the scripts that are using the vulnerability. By updating your Norman antivirus program you are protected against the malware that are using this exploit, says virus analyst Gunnar Johansen at Norman ASA.
So far Norman has not seen many examples of malware using the exploit.
